and living a healthy lifestyle.
Deep Roots & A Bright Future
The Sailor Circus has been part of
the Sarasota community for more than
50 years. In 2004, the program
was on the verge of closing.
With the assistance of Sheriff
William F. Balkwill, the Police
Athletic League took over the Sailor
Circus as one of its after school
programs.
PAL understands the
importance of providing a legacy for
future generations through
performing arts and is committed to
ensuring the future of the Sailor
Circus.
PAL Sailor Circus is
about kids
The kids are what it is all about..
but let us not forget the people who love them and care enough to
make a difference in their lives. Our organization
relies on over 150 volunteers, who donate more than
23,000 hours of their time each season. They spend
their time creating, refurbishing and making
costumes and props, selling concessions and tickets,
rigging, ushering, coaching and more. Want to learn
how you can help make a difference
in the life of a child?
